"This was one of our favorite meals when visiting London. The owner was so kind, patient and helpful to us traveling Americans. The food was hot and tasted really good. Highly recommend!"

"Just wandered around to this little place during lunch break. Absolutely brilliant. It’s only little there’s no loo but I had a cheese salad sandwich and a coke for £4 and it was just like I’d have made it at home. Salad fresh and crisp, cheese had taste and was in slices not that plastic grated nonsense and the salad cream was decent too. If the work in the area keeps up I imagine the owner and I will become fast friends!! I’d take a picture but I’ve finished..."

"Dropped in here two days in a row as was in the area and googled great coffee.....tucked away on a residential street found this place. Amazing coffee low vol roasted, great snacks and sandwiches and also a very nice environment to get work done. Buzzy but well setup with WiFi etc. Highly recommend."

"Well first things first, there is nothing wrong with the taste or presentation of the food. Ours was pretty decent and is priced for people on a budget. The rest of the place was not really up to my epectations though and if I had...know about it I would not have entered. The waitress really did not seem to care and was not in the slightest friendly or helpful. Tables wer left uncleared when they could have done better. Perhaps it was just a very busy day because of all the Open London stuff that was happening around. The other server who was more friendly kept appear to stroke his face and then served people took money without washing his hands. A health hygene inspection would not go amiss."

"Disappointed by reduced selection of worsts (blamed late delivery or perhaps because of the bank holiday). In any case, went for a bratworst and although okay, nothing particularly memorable. Served in a bun, I think my preference would be a roll, for a more hotdog type appearance. Not sure I will be heading back soon as plenty of other options nearby in PopBrixton."

"Shan't be rushing back. I'd been here once before and enjoyed it. Following my second visit, however, I'm sorry to say that I don't think I'll be coming back. The goats cheese and sundried tom salad was simple and fairly decent, but nothing to write home about. The chicken liver pate sandwich was a real let down the bread was so thick that the filling was barely noticeable. Followed with a lemon tart and a strawberry cup cake which were both poor especially given the prices. Total bill for tea, coffee, salad, sandwich, and two cakes was just over which seemed a bit steep given the quality. A real shame given that this place has such potential to be really lovely."

"Well, yes it does have a kebab front. But go into the restaurant and it will be like a taverna. Its for a meat fest, its not the candle lit experience if that's your thing. 6 friends had 2 whole chickens, 2 rack of ribs and 2 rack of lamb chops. As usual you can ask for how spicy you want it. Everything comes in a huge platter with piles of rice or chips and salad. Sauces that will take the back of your head off if you want to go that way. And lastly topped of with Sangria (3 jugs). I would have gone for a pitcher of Sangria and a whole chicken to myself. All the meat was tender and well cooked. The place gets busy for a Friday with a mixed crowd. Deserts are interesting but avoid biscuit cake as its a little dry. I would have gone for the banana split if I go again. They also do fish and prawns which I also hear is fantastic but unfortunately did not try. Staff are excellent and fun. The bill including tip was £180."

"Pret is convenient and a great place to grab something on the go. The sandwiches, wraps and pre made salads and snacks are delicious, full of flavour and fresh. The cafe is situated pretty central in London Waterloo station making it easily accessible from and to train platforms. The cafe has limited seating upstairs and the staff are friendly and helpful. There didn’t seem to be a bin which meant a lot of rubbish scattered around but perhaps this may have been a factor in they were almost closer. Nevertheless an enjoyable trip."
