"Our last visit to Sugarbeet was just exceptional! As you can tell by the photos, we couldn't wait to dive in before we remembered we should grab a pic for review. Our cocktails, as usual, we're amazing. I really adore the homemade bread they serve, it is warm, cheewy, flavorful and definitely worth the carbs! We had an interesting take on calamari, It was sous vide and stuffed with delicious little sauteed veggies and then plated with squid ink, really inventive. The star of the night for me was the sea bass which was cooked to perfection and served in a delicious broth, delicately seasoned with saffron, and contained (I think), mung beans. One wouldn't think that this combination would be as delicious as the ultimate dish really was, but I will long for this dish during cold winter date nights for a couple of years to come. My fiance had lamb chops, which were cooked perfectly to medium rare. The whole experience lovely, every bite delicious. Sugarbeet is definitely one of our favorite go-tos in the area, I highly recommend."

"On a visit to Longmont to this place. The reviews for the baked goods are exactly what I was looking for on Sunday morning. Yes, they are expensive for Colorado standards (previously a lot with Tartine in SF?Quality and price wise). I was told somewhat politely that dogs in the bakery are not allowed what I understand for food (which I obviously did not want). For walking up/going orders I really do not see why they are not allowed. Your outdoor seats are dog-friendly I?d suspect? but perhaps wrong. I would like to come back before I go, but I'm just not really excited about the support of companies that have a very outspoken no-dogs policy. Update is based on the owner's answer: I had no intention to eat and made a purchase by the separate entrance. No matter, thank you for your detailed explanation and answer."

"Not too bad, clean..for starts , pool tables worked well and were level sticks could use some maintenance), has this strip club meets speak easy meets comedy club feel to it. The alligator skin wall paper was kinda cool never seen that before,I bet drunk people love to feel it,even sober I had to feel it), chairs were comfy, but again I was wondering where the strippers were.., has a decent stage for shows comedy maybe or we were just too early to see the burlesque show) over all would be worth a second look, would like to see it when it wasn't dead."
