"Wonderful Pastas and very good attentive service. We dined here on a weekday night and did not need a reservation. We both tried one of the pasta specials, ravioli stuffed with lobster and crab in a cream sauce. Large portion and you could taste the seafood. The other special was the stuffed manicotti with gorgonzola cheese and a meat sauce, excellent. These entrees came with either soup or salad and ranged between 16.99 for the manicotti and 21.99 for the ravioli. Wine was good and reasonably priced from 6.95 a glass.We will definitely return to try one of their other dishes. This restaurant hAs expanded in size, so a lot more tables. I would make a reservation if wanting to dine on the weekend"

"We were kept waiting outside for 25 minutes. We were told we could put our names on a waiting list and walk to the mall for 20 25 minutes. My friend was unable to do that so we asked if we could sit at one of...the two unoccupied tables. No we could not. A tiny table was outside the door. Could we sit there and wait? If we did, we would lose our place on the wait list but we could order from there. We decided to do that. We were reluctantly given a menu, placed our order, including coffee and waited. The empty tables were never filled. After waiting 20 minutes we asked when our coffee would come. Oh, sorry. right away. After 5 more minutes, we got up and left. I can 't comment on the food or the value because we were never served. We were never allowed to actually enter the facility which I could see was full. I 've been told that the food is great. We were not obnoxious patrons but were polite and respectful so this did not seem to be retaliatory service."

"This installment of 'Cheap Eats for Big Appetites ' is brought to you by<br/ <br/ Bobbie Sox 50s Diner<br/ 226th and Lougheed<br/ <br/ Oh Lordy, I am stucking fuffed!!!<br/ <br/ Ever since we saw the recent post about the 2 for 1 burger special here the Missus has been bugging me to go, and what the Missus wants, the Missus gets, so we done went and got ourselves into the minivan and scurried down the road to satiate our cravings.<br/ <br/ I have to admit, I am so totally in love with this joint, from this classic 50s decor and music playing in the background to the quintessential american diner fare offered it is like stepping into a different time and place and I really dig it Daddy-o.....<br/ <br/ This was the kinda place that 1970s me would hang out eating a giant platter of fries in gravy when I was skipping school and hanging around with my hooligan friends, just don 't tell my parents, they still have no idea.<br/ <br/ We opted for the aforementioned special because you have to remember that besides my many other endearing qualities I am above all....really freaking cheap! And all that grub (waaay too much for the two of us) for only $13.99 is an incredible deal.<br/ <br/ I had a hankering for one of their legendary milkshakes so I had one in chocolate, oh god it was so absofreakinglutely delicious and thick! It 's a good thing that it comes with a spoon because if you tried to finish it with the straw your head would implode and that would make it infinitely more difficult to drive home.<br/ <br/ Although we both enjoyed our meals after putting forth our best efforts we were forced to raise the white flag and surrender, I am pretty sure that 1985 me could have put most if not all of it away but 2019 me could not, not even close...<br/ <br/ So 2 burgers (added cheddar to mine), 2 massive piles of fries, a milkshake, and a bottle of lemonade with tax came to under 25 bucks....way bueno dude.<br/ <br/ So if you are old and in the mood for a blast from the past, or young and want to see how we lived before smartphones and sushi took over the world then give them a try.<br/ <br/ +2 because no, I don 't think that I could eat like this every day but we had a really good time."

"We showed up at 5:30. In the past we have had problems with items on the menu being unavailable and the first thing we jokingly asked about was what was not available. Turned out the meatloaf my husband wanted was not available. I was looking forward to the St Louis ribs. They came half cooked and with very little meat on them. I sent them back and asked for Quesadeia instead. It was dry and had very little filling. This is not a cheap restaurant and we were looking forward to a nice night out but were very disappointed by the experience. This was one of our favorite restaurants. The waiter was good but it will be a very long time before we are back."

"My grandson won a coupon for a single pizza for a reading award at school. It was from another pizza place but we didn't realize it at the time. We decided to take the whole family out and he could have his single pizza. When we arrived we realized there were only a few bar stools for waiting and mainly it was a take out place. The counter was where we realized it was the wrong restaurant for the coupon. We asked the cashier to pretend to take the coupon and we would just pay for it. He carefully and stealthily took the coupon and gave it back when we were not looking. They suggested a family meal for the rest of us which was fabulous, with pizza, 10 wings, drink, bread sticks with cheese and a huge pizza like cookie, all for just over 30 dollars.Since then we have ordered by phone from there for delivery. We have always had great prompt service and would highly recommend either pick up or take out. Their service took them from a very good to an excellent!"

"We had heard some good things so we thought we would check it out. The restaurant was busy - the service was good and the ambiance was pleasant but the food was very disappointing. The salad was shredded cabbage with vinegar sprinkled on it and, to be truthful, it kind of grew on you as you ate it but it was pretty boring. The food was heavily salted - even the rice tasted salty. You get a scoop of rice and a scoop of mashed potato both of which were salty but with not other real taste. I had the chicken skewer which was very bland. We went to taste the cabbage rolls, one of their specialties but they too were quite tasteless except for the salt. When we asked the server about all the salt they said that it was the Balkan spice. We do eat relatively salt free at home and most restaurant food tastes salty to us but nothing like this. We had hoped to find a good eastern european restaurant in our area but I think we will keep looking. The cevapcici is quite good. There is better Calamari almost anywhere else."

"Of all the burger joints in this part of the world, no one comes closer to the magic that is In-n-Out than White Spot. And White Spot's Triple-O locations make it easier to grab that burger on the go, like you would at In-n-Out.Make no mistake, this is a burger chain only with a narrow selection. But if it's burgers you want, there's no better place to find them. This location gives good, fast service and the food is excellent as usual."
