"Disappointing ExperienceRegrettably, my recent dining experience at J.C. Seafood House left much to be desired. Despite high expectations, the restaurant fell short in several areas, leading to a disappointing visit that left me unsatisfied.The biggest letdown was the quality of the seafood. Considering the name of the establishment, one would expect a focus on fresh and flavorful seafood offerings. However, the dishes I sampled lacked the freshness and vibrant flavors I had hoped for. The seafood appeared lackluster, lacking that coveted ocean-fresh taste. The preparation and seasoning were inconsistent, with some dishes being overcooked and others lacking any discernible flavor profile.Another issue I encountered was the service. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout my visit. It was challenging to get their attention, and when we did, their responses were curt and lacking in warmth. The overall lack of hospitality created an unwelcoming atmosphere, which had a negative impact on the overall dining experience.The ambiance of J.C. Seafood House did not contribute positively either. The decor felt outdated and tired, and the seating arrangements were cramped and uncomfortable. The lack of attention to detail in the restaurant’s aesthetics detracted from the overall dining experience and failed to create a pleasant and inviting atmosphere.Pricing at J.C. Seafood House was on the higher side, considering the underwhelming quality of the food and the overall experience. It was difficult to justify the cost when the flavors and freshness of the seafood did not meet expectations. The value for money simply was not there, adding to the disappointment of the visit.Unfortunately, my experience at J.C. Seafood House did not meet the standards I had hoped for. The subpar quality of the seafood, lackluster service, uninspiring ambiance, and questionable value for money left me unsatisfied. With numerous other seafood options available, it’s difficult to recommend J.C. Seafood House as a desirable dining destination.Please note that individual experiences may vary, and it’s always possible that the restaurant may improve over time. It’s essential to form your own opinion by trying out the restaurant for yourself, taking into account different factors and preferences."

"From entering the door, the staff made us feel welcome, comfortable, and they were very accommodating. Had a jovial time talking with the family centered owners and staff who took the time to greet us. The kids enjoyed themselves. Game activities such as pool tables, dart boards, and televised sports events were absolutely perfect. The staff cared enough for our group to seat us away from the length of the pool tables. As great as all of that was, the best was yet to come. The food was mouth-watering delicious. It didn't come to the table in a New York minute, but it was well worth the wait. The BBQ briskets and ribs were off the chain. Everything we ordered from the menu was done to perfection. We were just passing through FWB for the weekend and heard about Poppy C's and decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. Their eloquence in service to the military family is recognizable just from approaching their establishment. Heartfelt salute to the owners and staff."

"I came here three years ago before work. There was a younger woman who was amazing. Customer service was top-tier. She made sure I had everything I needed. She didn't work there somewhere. Quickly recently, another worker had good customer service. She always made sure I had what I needed. I don't eat here anymore, but I always get my niece breakfast before school. The staff is terrible now. Even the manager who used to be great doesn't seem to care about her job. You leave in the order box without greeting for minutes while they have a complete conversation with each other directly in front of you. On the plus side, the food is usually fresh. If she could get a customer service there, it would be a much better branch."

"Traveling through the area and decided to get some non Starbucks coffee and donuts. Oh my goodness- amazing donuts, great coffee and the young lady helping us was great! Highly recommend!"

"Chef Tiffani is excellence personified! 16 of us rented 2 houses in the Watersound community and Chef Tiffani catered 2 meals. For dinner we had grouper, mashed potatoes and asparagus with a delicious brownie for dessert. For brunch we had fried grouper, grits, waffles, bacon, smoked sausage, potato casserole with sausage, meatless potato casserole, fresh fruit, strawberry salad, and THE best homemade biscuits! Trust me, it all tasted better than I described it. Not only did she prepare this amazing food, she set the table and served us dinner. The table settings were absolutely beautiful and she decorated the area with beautiful flowers. It was all top notch!! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and book Chef Tiffani. You won't be disappointed."
