"We visited brunch on Sundays. my man left the bed cowboy skillet and my son enjoyed an open face chicken sandwich. my gras fed burger was above average as my tortilla suppe. my only complicity is that it only serves American beer (Micro brews available) and not cozy seating."

"We went to Ward's with our daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our meal was amazing! Plus, our daughter has severe food allergies and they were able to totally accommodate her. The food was all delicious, from start to finish Their creme brûlée is the best we ever had. We will definitely come back next time we are in Milwaukee"

"Nice enough restaurant, but way too noisy. Food very good but not outstanding. I'd flagged our group as celebrating a birthday (my grandson's 19th), but the waiter told us they didn't do anything for special occasions -- a disappointment since the question was asked when I made the reservation through Open Table. A bit on the expensive side, but I suppose that's to be expected on a warm summer weekend night."

"If I could give this place 10 stars I would. You can’t go wrong with craft beer and cheese. The craft beer selection is wonderful and they have so many unique types of cheese. Have some beers and try some cheese samples, you will not be disappointed. The staff is amazing. The bartender was friendly and fast. She took the time to talk with us, suggest certain cheeses and local beers. Our plan was to try a bunch of places in downtown Milwaukee, but this place was too good we didn’t leave until we had to go to the airport. My carry on was packed with as much cheese as I could fit in it. The next time I am in Milwaukee I will be back."

"Questionable at first, but ok in the end. OK, to be fair we arrived to eat at about 3 pm on a Sunday. We were greeted immediately by someone behind the bar and were seated in the first room, where I noticed no one else was seated. And then we waited. And waited. I got up to look for someone to at least hand us menus and found lots of other people in other rooms, but no waitstaff... I returned to the table and the bartender passed by and we stopped her and told her we'd seen no one. She was horrified, took our order, and everything was fine after that. Beer was good, the salmon was a little dry but still tasty. The ribs were good but pretty much the same as you'd get anywhere. I suspect...read more"
