"My family and I have been loyal Mr. Scrib 's customers since they opened in Muskegon Even though the prices are higher than most other pizza places, they 've always been one of the best so it 's been worth it to pay more money. Over the last few years, however, the quality of the pizza has gone down The taste is pretty much the same but the toppings (including the cheese) are usually either skimpy or they don 't come CLOSE to covering the pizza evenly. I don 't expect perfection when it comes to placement of the toppings, however, there is NO consistency from pizza to pizza. Much to my disappointment, recently, I discovered that the customer service leaves something to be desired, too. The other night, I arrived home with our pizza just in time to watch the college basketball playoffs (my husband 's alma mater was playing). After discovering that the pizza had sausage on it, even though I didn 't order sausage, I called to report the mistake. The manager offered to replace the pizza but ONLY if I brought it back right then. When I explained to him about the game and why I did not want to bring it back at that time, he informed me that he would not replace the pizza at a later date. I asked, You 're going to throw it away, anyway, aren 't you? He said yes, he would, but he needed to be able to show the staff what they did wrong. REALLY?! Is the intellect of the staff so low that they would not understand (WITHOUT actually seeing the pizza) You put sausage on this customer 's pizza. The customer did not order sausage on her pizza ? What does that say for the staff; and what does that say for the manager who hired the staff? In my book, that 's pitiful. How disappointing."

"Ordered a takeout pizza and breadsticks/cheesy bread because the delivery time was estimated at 2 hours. Definitely didn't expect to see the restaurant so tiny and run down looking but don't judge a book by it's cover! We were told by our friends that they are moving to a bigger/nicer location soon. The cheesy bread was delicious and the kids loved it per usual. The pizza was big and enough to share. It's definitely more on the messy side and is overly covered in sauce and cheese. The pizza was still exactly what we wanted and everyone liked it!"

"This was my second time trying Brooklyn Bagels. The first time was years and years ago and I was a different person then, so it took me awhile to go back but I am glad I did! I stopped in today before work because I had a huge day ahead of me and wanted to try something new (ish). I got a breakfast sandwich (it was absolutely enormous!! I couldn't believe how big it was. I could have shared it with someone. I didn't, but I could have). And I got a vanilla cold brew and that was a delight!! I don't know why I wasn't expecting it to be good, but I really loved it. This may end up being my new favorite coffee place for road trips and before work pick-me-ups!"

"Kayleigh K. was our waitress and she was phenomenal!! Her suggestions were spot on, and made the food experience even better. She knew all the beers and could explain flavors very well, which is great when you want to try a local beer. The food was off the charts too! Thank you for a great time. "I 'm giving just four stars because I asked about the quantity of sausage ordered on my pizza and got absolutely no response from the waitress except, 'I 'll ask the manager. ' Beyond that nothing. She never said anything about what the manager may have answered. Also, the sauce on the pizza tasted as though it came straight from the can. I get a little disappointed when little effort goes into pizza sauce."
