"Had breakfast here while visiting Natchez and it was great. Had Queens full breakfast which included eggs, sausage, hash browns and one of the most filling pancakes I 've ever eaten. Service was great (Queen herself waited on us) and pricing was very fair. Can 't go wrong here."

"We LOVE historical architecture and try to stay at B&Bs as often as we can when we travel. It was nice that this place offered rooms with 2 beds so that we could have our kids with us. We have well behaved kids that are familiar with being careful and taking care of antiques as we are collectors and live in an 1885 Victorian. The room was big, but it seems little things could be done better. All of the light cords were going across the floors to the outlets instead of being routed with an extension cord along the walls. Furniture placement was lacking, also. The plumbing fixtures were very high end even though they were most likely older. Because of this, they were in great shape. However, it seemed like very cheap fixes have been being done over the years. It has a very 1980s, kinda bad, updated feel. Lighting was not great. I couldn't put on mascara in the bathroom because the mirror was too far away. The upside was that there was a lot of counter space. The beds were very soft. I like a soft bed, but they were broken down. My husband and I switched to the other bed because the one we were originally on was sinking in the middle and pooling us into each other. The other bed was broken down on the edge. I slept well, but my husband didn't at all. It was a little too soft. The TV was pretty small, but the bigger issue was that it was going out. The color and picture were both problematic. The cable was pretty bad. There were only a couple of channels with movies. I know this is a historic mansion and many things can't be helped, but we have to get creative in our home to make things work and I'm pretty much a purist. I would suggest getting reproduction queen beds and not full. I would also suggest much larger a/c units. Our room was HOT. The water pressure in the shower was AWESOME and the shower head was actually very easily worked. I would also suggest that beds not be made until rooms are booked if possible. Our bed had a little worm looking thing crawling in it when we pulled the covers back. This is normal with very old homes, but doesn't usually happen if rooms are not left sitting. Breakfast was not Southern in my opinion. It was very typical. The potatoes were awful both days. They tasted microwaved. I was also shocked that the restaurant was Mediterranean. My husband was not impressed with the gumbo. My chicken was good, but nothing was worth the price. We were expecting biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, catfish, etc. The hotel is also in a state of disrepair. There are construction materials and parts all over. The parking lot areas are a mess. It really needs cleaned up and fixed up. It is set up as more of a hotel and not a house. The typical living areas are rented rooms. We were just disappointed for the price we paid. We could have stayed at an award winning place nearby for the same price that had 100% 5 star reviews. Staff were very nice and helpful. It would have been awesome if they had a tourism station set up with suggestions on places to eat and things to do. The one they had was very small and only had a few things on it."

"Charming ambiance in downtown Natchez. We arrived shortly after they opened as we were leaving town. The people are great, offering attentive service, and really good coffee. We also lucked out and snagged some apple-cinnamon scones hot from the oven. Delicious! Highly recommend this gem of a coffee shop. I love it that they want to engage with their customers and thus will not serve you if you are actively involved in a phone call. Put down the phone, take a breath, and enjoy this lovely establishment. Will definitely stop in the next time in Natchez."
