"Famous for their meat pies (which are delicious!! , they also serve delicious everything else. We go for the liver and onions when I'm home! Carrot souffle is also wonderful!! The place is always busy, the staff running their legs off with their minds busy on what to do for the house full of customers...however, you will usually see one bright smile, no matter how busy the day. This will be Mrs. Helen. IMO, the next best reason, besides the food, to eat here."

"My husband and I had a delicious meal at Maglieaux's tonight. My entree was a chicken breast stuffed with crab meat and he had Italian Sausage Cannelloni. Both were tasty and filling. The cream sauce on both was spiced perfectly. The bread pudding was to die for. The bread texture was light and the cream sauce was perfect. It was light and creamy and did not overshadow the bread. The service was fast and attentive. Our server, Shelby, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about menu items, she had a very pleasant personality, she checked on us several times during dinner to see if we needed anything and we had a nice brief conversation with her after dinner. The restaurant has an outside seating area overlooking Natchitoches's beautiful river. I highly recommend Maglieaux's Riverfront Restaurant."

"Birthday Dinner gone bad. If You Crave Rotten Catfish, then this is the place for you! Presentation made you suspect from the beginning. Never seen anything like it. It looked disappointing but looks were deceiving. It was worse than it looked. Not cheap either. Can’t get much worse than this."

"This place is amazing. it is located in an old country office, approx. Built in 1830. large eating and a great atmosphere are only supplemented by the amazing drinks that contain 20 beers on the hahn. (a big sortiment, I could add.) the crew is friendly, but the service can be somewhat slow when they are busy. taste the pizza that is very unique. also the brisket Po-Junge with homemade pub-ries is always a good bet. great place to dinner and sit for a few hours drinking a beer or two about good entertainment."
