"I dined this venue, as well as its sister property next door, King's Pizza. Both are recommended.<br>

There are at least a dozen breakfast "pancake houses" along the North Myrtle Beach strip. So it's difficult to tell which ones might be "a mistake." This one is definitely not a mistake!<br>

The interior of this venue is bright & clean; furnishings are in excellent shape, dishware is unchipped and bright, etc. <br>
<br>
Also I can report that service is pretty fawning in nature. It's clear that management expects the wait staff to be attentive, polite, well-spoken & professional.<br>

There's a wide menu for breakfast with all the usual suspects. You won't be limited to "just pancakes." I opted for King's Omelet, basically an "all-the-way" in terms of fillings. Pancakes on the side. My travel companion, she went for French Toast, eggs, sausage, a bowl of grits.<br>
<br>
Presentations were attractive. Creamers, butter, etc dispensed in large quantities, no scrimping. Portions were a bit smaller than I would have hoped for, but I am a big eater. <br>
<br>
All the items were tasty - and I did sample the French Toast. I am not going to say these were the best pancakes or eggs on Earth, but they were prepared well ... and were well above average in quality, at least several clicks above Denny's, IHOP, etc. <br>

Prices were quite fair for what was served. The two of us, including all the food, coffee, large juices, about $22 before the tip.<br>

Why gamble? Hit this place for breakfast and you won't be disappointed!<br>

"Great food! And, as you have, quite cheap for the beach. I had two buttermilk pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon for only 5,50. The hosts and servers were all very friendly, and the plantation had a very homey-welcoming feeling. Would go back with my family."

"Possibly one of the worst dinners I've had, only thing good was apologetic waitress. The drinks were watery, nachos were a pile of slop that I wouldn't even feed to my dog, steak was raw, the half a pound bucket of popcorn shrimp was miniature shrimp with a sort of rub on them (defiantly not popcorn shrimp), the owner even said they were wrong but still brought back the same kind of shrimp. He defiantly didn't seem to care all that much, felt so bad for the waitress working. Defiantly never ever going there, do not recommend this place to anyone."
