"This is simply the best chip shop around. Chips are light, crispy and perfectly cooked. The fish is fresh and always beautifully cooked. Mushy peas are delicious. Sausage, not battered, always tasty. Portions are always plentiful"

"I really fancied good old chippy one day,so thought I’d try here bit septical as read some bad posts on f/b,I had fish chips mushy peas,they were lovely,nearly good as the seaside!second time I went mushy peas sausage in batter,I agreed to have them altogether mistake on my part as peas had soak in to much,the batter was soggy,not nice,but as said this is my fault,I have had a takeaway from another Chinese on a tray but curry sauce,soak into much but that’s my preference from now on separate all the way!"

"The range of food has diminished. There are excellent jams and cakes but no longer fresh, chilled food which is a pity as the local ingredients were great. I hope they will extend the range of food on offer to make it worth a visit. At the moment unless one was shopping at the Leekes Store or eating in the excellent Farmers Fayre Restaurant it wouldn't be worth visiting just for the Farmers Fayre Farm Shop."

"I've heard plenty of good stuff about The BBB from friends and Facebook..etc, so yesterday I decided to pop over. Needless to say, the service was brilliant, from the moment I arrived to 45 minutes later. The very happy and chatty ladies cooking and serving were really funny and very outgoing.. Bouncing off one another! I had quite a good laugh actually! I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich which turned into a baguette as the older lady had cooked too much bacon.. Same price! I wasn't complaining. I had 4 peices of bacon and two eggs, which were poached to perfection. A dash of pepper.. Mouthwatering.. Please.. Take me back! The coffee could have been stronger but then again I should have asked for two spoons of coffee and less milk..too busy having a laugh! I'd give them a 8.5 10 because there's always room for improvement in any business. I would definitely recommend you try yourself, you won't be disappointed."
