"When shopping at EDEKA in Oldenburg, I was told that this blood sausage was from Meerpohl. What was closer to the carpentry to make a visit. The meat business is 110 years old in 2013, which is a big anniversary. Founded in 1903, the plant has moved to the current location several times. There is also a party service, e.g. Spanferkel from 20 people for €12,90 without supplement sounds cheap. On the homepage then a pleasant entry to the gourmet 2012: “We are in the gourmet! The Gourmet Journal The Gourmet has led us to its culinary guide in April 2012. "We were there on Sunday, very nicely located on the harbour promenade. I guess Drin wasn't much going on at that time. Ca 5 cakes were to choose from which all looked very good. They were also very good and the price was also good."

""Pommesbude" ist hier ein Ehrentitel. Vermutlich die besten Pommes in Oldenburg; ansonsten ist die Auswahl schmal, so mit Currywurst, Schaschlik, Schnitzel. Aber: eine absolute crazy choice an Pommessaucen, eine leckerer als die andere. Meine Lieblingssauce ist "Holland in Not" - zusammen mit den Fritten fühlt man sich fast wie in Holland (oder Belgien). Billig ist die Bude auch nicht, aber man gönnt sich ja sonst nix."

"When I was looking for the Italian cheese Asiango, I also called Cheese Friese in Oldenburg. Unfortunately, they do not have a current homepage, but they were very friendly on the phone, but they did not have the cheese. Today you could see what is offered there. I asked for some time to look around. My wife chose the English Rosinbrot, I chose the cheese and the bacon. The stilton in the port wine was offered to me for tasting, which fits perfectly with the salted butter on the rosin bread. However, everything is above ALDI level, for my 5 parts I only paid €32. The services are all very friendly, on offer also a lunch table that could be taken at small tables or at the stand tables outside the door. But we had just eaten in the little castle, otherwise we could have got turkey, penne with vegetables Bolognese or plug-in beet stew. If you want to eat something special, here in Oldenburg is a great location, parking is possible in the parking garage at Theaterwall."
