"A great little place for authentic German sausages. The owner is German and very passionate about his sausages. All the spices used are imported from Germany to recreate the authentic taste of home. There are 6 different types that come with bread for only $38MXN. You can also choose to add potato or pasta salad, or take away fresh sausages to cook at home. This is a small place with four bar style tables with stools outside under an awning. Great value for a lunch or dinner on the go. I went twice while I stayed in Playa! "The dads went to order pizza for three families of kids who were wanting a break from Mexican food and the adults were going out for a fancy dinneron 5th Avenue. They barely finished one beer before the pizza was ready to bring back to...the house we are renting! Pizza was thin, crispy and so good we ordered for the kids and adults another night we were too lazy to cook or go out. Pepperoni, sausage and plain cheese were all yummy."

"Unfortunately (because the food is actually good) the service is absolutely horrible. I was there with a friend and as we live in Mexico City and speak Spanish we therefore ordered our food in Spanish from the Spanish menu. We both ordered one dish. I...asked about their pescado (fish) in one of the dishes if it was fried or not. The waitress said yes so I went ahead and ordered it. The food later arrives first with one dish we did not order. I asked what this was. She said we ordered it. I sent it back innocently as I clearly did not order it. 5 min later 2 dishes arrive (the ones we actually ordered) and the waitress claims this is what my friend ordered and not me so both are for her according to her. We start getting a bit upset with her as she is rude to us. She emphasizes that we need to pay for the extra dish and actually says to me that I speak very bad Spanish and that I probably did not understand what I ordered and that it is therefore all my fault. We were absolutely shocked by her statement and lack of service mindedness. She said we could speak to her boss which I gladly accepted. She/he never came though and the waitress never came back to our table. We were clearly not going to pay for anything extra so I spoke to their other waitress who made sure we only payed for what we ordered. I went up to the other waitress, who could barely look me in the eyes, asked for the bill and specified that there would be no tip. Would never go back."
