"This is a great lunchtime stop for a large group or people in a hurry. The self serve format means no waiting around for menus, food servers or bill payers. Sure, it lacks that intimate Austrian Stubl or Hutte feeling but there's plenty of other...options on the mountain if you want the leisurely lunch compared with the let's do another black attitude of the hungry skier. It is large inside with what looks like a recent extension but tables were tough to find inside on an inclement day when eating outside was fit only for rooks, yetis or snowmen.Still at we got one of the last tables and selected from the varied menu and great beverage selection, all at reasonable prices and generous portions. Definitely a keeper for when you just want to refuel and crack on with another few runs"

"If you are vegan or vegetarian you have to eat at biochi when you are in Schladming. The owner Johann is the chef and his wife Gabi a nutritionis and they cook the best vegetarian food I have ever eaten. Also gluten free available if you want. Everything is organic and fresh and every day they offer 2 different dishes for lunch, the menu changes weekly. biochi is also a great place for a breakfast, coffee and traditional Austrian cakes or traditional Austrian apple strudle. All cakes are organic and vegan and really yummy. There is an organic shop integrated in the bistro and the friendly owners can tell you everything about the products they sell and what you need to eat if you have a specific issue. This restaurant and shop is unique and I go there as much as I can when I am in Schladming. Gabi and Johann also offer cooking classes where you learn to cook the awesome food they create every day. It is worth to book a cooking class in advance as they are quickly sold out."

"This is certainly somewhere we will return but next time to stay. On the evening we ate at the Holzhackerstube Peter was preparing a BBQ evening, we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed some excellent cuisine, the roast beetroot was delicious, and I...was delighted when Peter shared how he had cooked this dish. I look forward to visiting again for the taster menu"

"The jausenstation is located as a compulsory starting point on the Königsweg. At least we would not have driven the hut (in the valley) which is more pronounced on child tourism. the gams soup from the side table looked good, the gams sausages were delicious. the imiserschmarrn is an absolute no go. went back, was also not paid. the strudel are TK goods, has nothing to look for on a hut."
