"My partner and I, my daughter and many friends recently attended a wake for a dear friend. The landlord and lady couldn’t have been more accommodating allowing us to hang pictures outside and allowed music to be played outside as it was a very warm day. All the staff were friendly and never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be served. The food was plentiful from sandwiches, homemade pizzas, chicken wings to homemade sausage rolls. A terrific send of for our dear friend."

"We chose The Harrow Inn for my fathers wake as Dave and Alison offered us the warmest welcome with respectful help. They were so accommodating and went over and above ensuring this occasion went just as we wished. The pub has a lovely cosy function room just perfect but we also had run of the pub. The finger buffet food was delicious. A very nice traditional country pub, thoroughly recommended"

"My wife and I came to lunch shortly after 1 o'clock on Friday. the place was full and, until we had secured a table, we were not allowed to order food because we had to give the cash register our table number. no help. was ready to find a table, so we had to run around until we wanted to leave some people. I then ordered fish and chips for me (one of the advertised special), only to say that they would run out. we both ordered another special chicken and mushroom war. when it arrived, this appalling trage of a cake consisted of a small pottery bowl with some chicken and mushroom pieces, covered with a sauce. above was prekariousl balance a square of puff bakery that was not somewhere near the torte until a few seconds before. how they can immagine this abonination is a cake I don't understand. I really thought these people would be better and I won't eat there again."

"We were visiting from NY during this past weekend and end it up in this amazing coffee shop and we loved it. Food is fresh and delicious, staff are very friendly, attentive and makes you feel very welcomed. We will definitely recommend Anna’s Cafe and most definitely will come back next time."

"Lunch here ticks so many boxes the pub is centuries old and has masses of character, food was great, pub is dog friendly, ample parking, and plenty of walks on the doorstep. The food was fresh and well prepared. Burgers in pubs these days are usually so tall you have to eat them with a knife and fork but it is surprising how often grease from the patty causes everything to slide around under the knife. Not here, the patty was firm and the filling was just right. Fish and chips were also great, good batter not dripping in oil. As for the service, the pub wasn't full but service was prompt and enthusiastic. what more could you want?"
