"10 pizza is $14 before topping. Mozzarella Sticks $13. These are some funny egg roll cheese sticks that are not even as big as my pink. Wouldn't waste money here. Pizza is... best overpriced and cooked. Maybe you rent some stones from the donor over the parking lot. They would make at least one edible pizza."

"First the server we had is not friendly. We were a big party seated on different tables, and we asked to pay separately, about 3 separate bills, the server said, I’m only going to do this once, we only allow 2 split checks. We are 3 families.Next we ordered 3 medium steaks, it was served with pancakes. The steaks were served well done, and dry. I tried to give a feedback, not asking for a replacement, just so they know, instead of apologizing, she even tried to argue and defend. See the photo of the steak.Third, the pancakes were undercooked, all of them, it was like rushed, you can still taste the batter and you will notice the consistency of the pancakes they easily break apart.There were not a lot of guests, and these were several servers staffed. I don’t understand the reason for being unfriendly, rushing and low quality of service.We drove all the way from the bay area wanting to get a normally good iHop meal, we were so wrong in picking this branch.We asked for our check, and it took forever like they retaliated because we gave the constructive feedback.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS IHOP BRANCH."

"It was so good for lunch, we went back to dinner! The waiting staff is a well-oiled machine, working with attention through all. Great selection with my favorite IPA, Pliney the Elder. And the food:. Best Calamari ever, and a huge part of it. In fact, to share additional hunger or plan or to take over remnants. Very generous amounts of great food and an extensive menu, the begs return visits to taste them all. My bride is still talking about the Salat Drop the Beet. We're here in South Lake Tahoe for another week. It will be hard to choose somewhere else."

"I found about this place from a blog. I visited Saturday morning for a brunch after returning from Emerald Bay. We had to wait 20 mins. This place has great variety of breakfast options. We tried California omelet which was full of veggies. The hash browns were perfect. The chicken torta was tasty and had soft chicken. The hot chocolate was super nice, not too sweet. I didn't like the blueberry crepes that much but my friends enjoyed it..! Service was good, they even replaced the potato salad with fries when we said we didn't like it."

"This was a great local place to stop in for a breakfast or lunch. Great central location. Love the history of the place on the menu. True cafe food, with a old school feel. The bar seating area was cool. The menu items were great , large variety. The serving were huge. The price was ok but a little on the high end. They have a gift shop area at the front, cute stuff. The ski lift chairs hanging from the celling were cool. Staff very friendly and place was clean. I will definitely be back before we leave town ."

"Had so much fun at the Idle Hour for a wedding reception. Beautiful view of the lake! Wedding was on the Safari Rose which was even more amazing! The event coordinator, Chris, did an amazing job (minus some last minute added stress to the bride and groom regarding reception set-up), but overall it was a fabulous event!"
