"Stopped off for brekkie en route to a meeting, not my normal breakfast stop, but it opens at 8am so I can leave very early, have breakfast and get to my meeting refreshed. No veggie breakfast on the menu. I don't know why but I always find that rude. I don't want to be an after-thought or have to make a fuss. Of course they could cook me a veggie breakfast without the sausage and bacon, great, but forgot to check if they would cook in vegetable oil. Hope they did. Breakfast was good. Not great, but perfectly fine. Good value at £8. The coffee was a bit bitter. The staff were lovely, very chatty and friendly. Parking is a nightmare until you find out that you can park in the residents parking areas. Otherwise leave your car on the side of the road somewhere and walk. Would probably come back, it's a bit off the beaten track but looks like a pretty village."

"I only had 'chris' a big boy'. what a great sandwich! right sausage, crispy black pudding, great speck, mushroom beautiful piece boiled real tomats and a bit of brot that was perfect was not too crusty and not too soft. oh and a few fried eggs! the best breakfast stick I had ordered with just eating and here faster than expected from a beautiful lady many thanks"

"Stopped for coffee with my wife last w/e, it feels very tired,possibly one of the worst I have stopped in. The toilets were not well maintained or cleaned. Located in the town centre,so easy to find. The staff were very friendly helpful and it offered what you expect from Costa. Come on Costa, spend some money do this place up. Would I return ? Perhaps, might try another local coffee shop instead."

"On a blazing sunny day, the side garden was in the shade but closed. The main garden was unbearable due to the sun the parasols were too small to be of any use. I asked if we could use the shady side garden and...as told No it's closed We decided to eat in the car park instead! Save yourself money and buy your sandwiches/lunch somewhere else or take your own and go to the weir area. We will not be using the over-rated and unfriendly tea rooms again."

"First time trying this place since we moved to Faringdon and wish we never had. Got food poisoning from battered sausages, tasted weird while eating, not sure it was all sausage. Think it must have been there a while. Never going here again! "
