"My friend and I accidentally walked in this place because we are Asians and we decided to try something new that day. And we both think we find treasure! it's satisfying with a reasonable price. And we are very lucky to find the hospitality of Polish people by joining a birthday party of another customer there."

"Lovely new manager, breath of fresh air, pub was very clean and bright. Sunday Roast was average, I had the lamb which was delicious, but disappointed with the selection of vegetables, counted 2 carrots and a mountain of cabbage. I ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which was huge and could have shared with my husband. The roast potatoes were not good! Only ate half of one, they tasted undercooked with a funny flavour. Was disappointed to see, there was no dessert menu, just ice cream and cake! Who has cake on a Sunday roast/menu, should be something like apple pie with custard etc. Staff? Took us 5 minutes to order 4 drinks, bar staff were very slow and not very knowledgeable, disappointing there was no pink gin or pino on offer! Not only were these bar staff slow, but I thought totally inappropriately dressed and scruffy, one wearing flip flops! Also would be nice to receive a smile from the staff!!! I really hope that this feedback comes as a positive criticism as I would love to see this country pub thrive again."

"Another great night with the best Thai food you'll find in Hertfordshire. I went for the beef chilli and it was superb just a shame I have to wait till next Friday for round 2. All washed down with Gin cocktails."

"This is one of those well established, been here for years, family-run places that serves up a wide range of good solid traditionally English dishes that will appeal to builders and pensioners, families and people passing through who want a nice clean place to eat. You can eat in or outdoors in covid-security and will be served from behind a screen, with a smile. The coffee is also very good, and it is all very well priced. You will not be disappointed!"

"My Partner parents live in WGC so finishing our dog walk. We popped in the Sun Inn in Lemsford. We usually used the Long Short Arm. Unfortunately at one end of the pub a very Rowdy bunch of kids, very loud, and drunk. Talking to one I think he said they were from Hatfield Athletic FC. What a let down for the pub, and FC. I can only describe them as a Creche, without being supervised. Whilst using the means WC the loo was stuffed with toilet roll. So next time the crocked Chimney. Alex."

"Everytime I get food from here it’s always over cooked or tastes like it’s been sat there for hours, everytime I get curry sauce from there it’s as runny as water so just gone straight down the sink without any struggle since it’s basically water, complained before but still no improvement and still wasting people’s money on this food the amount of times I’ve got it home and binned it is a joke"
