"After reading some of the reviews I was beginning to regret booking but my worries were unfounded.We booked early evening on a Saturday and we’re given a table next to the window where we could watch the world go by.We had a lovely warm welcome and we’re soon offered a drink while we looked at the menu.It was a novel experience not knowing what to expect apart from being aware that the menu was small and changed daily.I started with juicy sweet mussels followed by turbot and my husband had mozzarella and then lamb and we shared a dish of potatoes.We sat very quietly,too absorbed in eating g the delicious food to talk much.All that was left on the plate was the pattern.We followed our mains with a plate of cheese which we shared,followed by an amazing chocolate pudding which we also shared.We drank wine by the glass as wanted different colours and were not disapointed by the suggestions of the waitress.A really lovely relaxing venue with amazing food and great service.Not cheap but well worth the money as a special treat.This was our first visit but it will not be our last."
