"Wasn't blown away. Went for Valentine's day. The atmosphere I expect to what was received was defiantly different. We were squeezed in pretty close to another couple on one long table with the only thing separating us being a wine bucket. The duck breast was nice. But the crab not so much. The desert was nice. But a bit small. My 2 cents"

"I had been looking forward to trying the Belmont as I'd heard some great things. A group of us made a booking for a Saturday night, which seemed to be a busy night. When we arrived the menu was not yet available, it was still being printed off by the owner. Apparently there is a new menu every day. After receiving the menu, we asked the staff a few questions and they had no idea, the only person who could tell us anything was the owner. One member of our group required a gluten free meal, the owner actually made us feel like this was a real inconvenience. There were limited options for someone unable to eat gluten, in the end she had the pulled pork burger without the bread roll, even then we still weren't convinced it was gluten free. I might also add that the owner emphasised several times that usually they would not make adjustments to a menu item, but on this occasion he would make an exception. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals and the servings were extremely generous. But the fact that they weren't real accommodating of someone who needed a gluten free meal put a dampener on the evening."

"Sunny day, fresh fish shop selling fish and chips across from a lake, hunger strikes. its the perfect solution. For $10 got a lunch pack of Blue Grenadier, potato cake, crunchy chips, lemon wedge, tartare sauce and a can of soft drink. Sat on the grass and watched the world go by. The fish and chips would have to be the freshest in Bendigo.Im hooked!"

"I was alarmed when none of the guests or hosts where Chinese. When I saw the menu of chicken, beef, pork and seafood dishes with the identical copy-paste flavor choices I should have run. Oh, what a yucky fare of Heinz-Maggi-Kraft-type junk! Enjoy that canned veggies with bottled sauce yourself if you don't believe me."
