"The taucher caught scallops was one of my outstanding food courses of 2011 and see a photo is enough to make me nostalgic. the presentation has recently changed with the addition of salty bacon crumbs and pork scratches. all the components that there is such a wonderful dish as the delicate sweet scallop, the rich black bell, the sweet and spicy pure and the crispy karamell are still in spat and it was all as good as I remembered."

"We had a gorgeous lunch at The Butchers on our last day in Stow on the Wold. The menu was fantastic as it catered for both fish lovers and meat people. I had the chilli and crab spaghetti which was full of flavour and not sparse on the ingredients. My fiancé had the roast which featured a Yorkshire pudding the size of his head and roast beef which was ridiculously soft. We had amazing desserts and cocktails to go with it and the staff were very friendly. It was probably the nicest meal on our trip and we would definitely go back."
