"Amazing Experience like always. You can always count on guaranteed quality in food, service, and atmosphere. Server was entertaining and food came out very quickly! Highly recommend the baked scallop/salmon roll and the spicy garlic edamame. Thanks for being an LA classic."

"The restaurant is okay, but nothing to write home about. Just a warning about the pork - it seems like they didn't fully remove the smell. The Jjamppong is supposed to be spicy, but it's actually quite mild."

"Met up with friends I haven't seen for a long time. K-town is sort of mid-point between where we live and we ended up here. We walked down the exterior stairs to the basement level and was seated right away. We are old so we start the night early and go home before we turn into pumpkins at midnight. Naturally, we were the first/only customers. As we got settled in and ordered our food and drinks, we noticed this old wet mop smell. I figured maybe they just mopped the floor before the evening rush and the smell would fade. The smell lingered and I looked around for a mop stored nearby to move it further away but no mop. Eventually, the wet mop smell was covered up by the smell of food and our noses became desensitized as we drank more. Food was OK. Beer was OK. They need to buy a new mop, use clean water and soap."

"This place is the best Sushi I have had. They tell you they don't have bento boxes etc because they focus completely on the Sushi. It is a little pricey but not substantially more than places that don't compare to it's quality. I look forward to coming again."

"Overall: 4.5 dine in) We came here as a group of 4 during early and late night. It's 100% better at night when the place is popping with K-pop music and gives off a family-owned Korean pub vibe. Service was great and we left loving this place. Recently we went right at opening at 6 PM on a Sunday. There was only one other party beside us, no music, and just one worker. Each table has a button you can press whenever you needed something. Service was okay. The waiter only came when we pressed the button. He wasn't attentive so we didn't get water refilled and had to flag him down to order. Scallop Skewer: Tiny scallop balls that weren't good. Hard pass. Spicy Cheese Chicken Rice Balls $32.99): This was really good, and perfect to share with 2-3 people. Pork Belly With Fried Kimchi 23.99): The pork belly was dry and flavorless. They gave a sauce to dip it in but that didn't help. The fried kimchi was amazing but it still doesn't justify the price. Galbi Sauce Fried Chicken $19.99): This was bomb! The sauce was so good on the chicken and rice cake which were both fried to perfection. The fries were meh though. Also, the portion size has shrunk from the last time we were here. Fish Cake Soup $22.99): My friend was raving about this and it did not disappoint! The soup along was super flavorful and had a nice little kick to it. The fish cake was delicious, one of the best I had. I wasn't a fan of the fat stick of rice cake though."

"Oh Oste, what can I say? Best Italian in LA? YES definitely, but who’s going to believe me considering all I seem to review are Thai restaurants? The staff is warm and attentive, the food is fabulous (fyi all their world-class pizzas just happen to be nearly gluten-free) and the whole space glows like a big bronze lantern. Come and see for yourself. Really picks up after 7pm— Xx"
