"Aux Pesked is quite simply a wonderful restaurant run by excellent hosts. The dining room is modern and light with plenty of space between the tables and none of the horrible stuffiness you get in some other top restaurants. The service was friendly Sophie Aumont and her small team did a great job without ever risking being too overbearing. Perhaps my favourite touch is that Mathieu Aumont personally dresses all of the plates in the middle of dining room which all adds to the experience. He also served and explained several of our dishes to us and checked....not something many grand chefs (chefs of his calibre) do! The food was quite simply fantastic we sample the Scallops, Ormeau, Saint Pierre and the Lamb. The chocolates desert with the exotic fruits was incredible blending different textures and flavours in to something really unforgettable. Having read the reviews of other trip advisors those that claim the service is cold or the food too creative frankly I couldn 't disagree more. Probably the simplest example of the falseness of these claims is that I 'm allergic to shellfish, but the Mathieu and Sophie completely reworked their menu for me including making dishes especially for me. If you want excellent, modern, French cooking Aux Pesked is sure to please. There 's no doubt....we 'll be back again!"
