"So here 's my story: It was a lovely, warm day. My boyfriend had recently bought me a few pairs of earrings and a necklace that he knew I really wanted. He told me that he was going to his mate 's house to game so I decided to buy him something in return while he was out. I was walking hopelessly in the city because I couldn 't find anything to get him. Then I saw him hanging out with another girl. I was shocked because he said he was at his other friend 's house and I had never seen this girl before. I tried to think positively but I knew he was cheating when I saw them kiss and hold hands. I was heartbroken and didn 't know what to do. That 's when I looked to the building on my left. The sign read 'Yum Cha '. My best friend told me about how great Yum Cha was so I thought in that moment that I should try to distract myself before confronting my boyfriend later. The staff at Yum Cha welcomed me so nicely. I was about to book a table for myself before I saw another man crying like me in the waiting line. I asked him what was wrong and he said that he caught his girlfriend cheating on him too! We were both so surprised. We decided to book a table together and I learned that this was his first time visiting Yum Cha too. We got along well and I felt a connection. We bonded over the love we had for our food because it was just so delicious! I sent my now ex-boyfriend a photo I took of him and the other girl together and told him it was over. I went on some more dates with the man from Yum Cha. We dated for about two years until he proposed to me. We now have a little boy who we love very much. Yum Cha brought my family together and will always have a place in my heart."

"Food was OK except everything came at once fried rice first, meals next and then entrees. As it was for a table of 10 there were dishes everywhere! I expect to pay corkage when we BYO wine but couldn't believe the bill with $30 corkage when three people drank. One person had a small half bottle of red so the corkage was as much as the wine; one person had 2 glasses of white from their bottle and one person had 2 glasses of red from theirs. Usually corkage would be $3 or $4 per person so $9 to $12 but $30 corkage is a complete rip off!!!!"

"We came here with our family. Great service and so kind and accommodating. The flavours were really nice and we enjoyed our meal. They can accommodate to gluten-free foods. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was fantastic. Unfortunately the gluten-free menu was a little bit small. However we still managed to order all our meals from that menu. We did find that it was a little bit expensive."
