"Definitely the place to go for Cajun food. Service was great and very hospitable. The appetizer (Jack Daniels Shrimp w/ Jumbo Lump Crab) was very good as were the meals we ordered (Spicy Crawfish Red Beans Rice and Shrimp Grits). I expected a bit more 'spice ' on the RB R, but that aside it was very good. We were excited to see Maque Choux on the menu so ordered a side. I must say we were saddened by the lack of everything. It just fell flat which is sad as it 's a wonderful Cajun dish. It was so unimpressive we left most of it behind. That aside, I 'd recommend RTs. We plan to go back and try other dishes"

"I was on my way with friends. The atmosphere was great, and I had the red snapper. It was exquisite. I also enjoyed a cheese plate from local farms, which was a great way to start dinner with a glass of wine. Drive to this corner of Virginia and enjoy. I'm looking forward to coming back soon."

"Cameron was outstanding!!! He was the perfect level of attentive, even though he had way too many tables to serve. I am not a wine drinker and Cameron offered a sample of a wine that was perfect. He listened to the flavor profile I enjoyed as well as that of my companion and somehow brought a sample both of us could drink He's a wine wizard lol. In addition to this recommendation he maintained his composure regardless of how many tables tried to get his attention and having to hustle to move guest sitting outside indoors, when the sky opened up l and it started to pour down rain. The hostesses were accommodating as well. The pleasant attitudes of every staff member made the experience enjoyable. Now for the food I had a whiskey flight which was lovely. I typically have sweet cocktails so I can't taste the alcohol but the apple, cinnamon and honey whiskeys were enjoyable straight. They were bittersweet with a distinct taste of apple, cinnamon or honey. I could enjoy any of the 3 blended into a hot totty or tea. We only partook in appetizers but the chicken quesadilla was seasoned perfectly. It was clearly fresh chicken breast, onions and green peppers. Not too salty or overly seasoned. The charcuterie board was tasty as well. I'm not a dip fan and I enjoyed the hummus and forgive my uncouthness for not recalling the name of the olive paste dip but it was good as well and I typically only enjoy olives on a supreme pizza. Very fresh food, abundant beer, wine spirit selections, excellent location (Old Town Alexandria)and professional attentive staff, what more could I ask for?"

"This place may have gotten 2 stars if it wasn’t for their bartender. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the host who directed us to our seats on the patio. We came in for happy hour but was told that it was only at the bar so we moved. That was fine. The issue began with the rude service we received from the bartender. We weren’t greeted at all and we’re basically treated like an inconvenience. She just slapped two menus on the counter and that was it. We had to ask her for the happy hour menu. We asked her about their “well” drinks since we were unfamiliar with that term. The bartender, seeming to be annoyed by the question, explained it as just any drink with bottom shelf liquor. Okay cool that’s fine so we proceed to order margaritas. However, she then let’s us know that those wouldn’t be considered happy hour price, we only get liquor with one mixer. After doing some research of our own we learned that that’s not the actually definition of a “well” drink. The food came out at a decent time and was okay, it’s just unfortunate that their bartender had to ruin the whole vibe. We will not be returning."
