"Had another fabulous meal at one of our favourite places Always happy smiley staff friendly and attentive Food again superb fishcake with Asian slaw,We went for a Sunday lunch I had Scallops starter my wife had the broccoli and Stilton soup my daughter had the pork belly all the starters were fantastic, we all had beef for main again the food was excellent."

"I don't know why there aren't more positive reviews for this place, but we just discovered it last night after living around the corner for almost a year. Small restaurant, small menu, tons of charm and delicious food. We didn't find the service to be too slow at all, on the contrary we were immediately served drinks once we sat down and were paid attention to costantly, with proper time in between courses to enjoy the wine and experience. Chef came to the table to greet us himself. I had their special for starter, beautifully seared scallops with saffron rissoto (could have gotten it for main too, was amazing , and entrecote for dinner. My husband had their garlic potato soup (heavenly and cordon bleu (crowd pleaser I think!! . Portions were perfect, and as others said their Tempranillo house wine was delicious. Will gladly be coming again!"

"Wir haben einen perfekten abend zu zweit verbracht. schon der blick in die karte war sehr vielversprechend: eine kleine aber feine auswahl an kreativen, saisonalen gerichten. von den yuzu-ravioli, die ich zur vorspeise nahm, hätte ich am liebsten noch einen zweiten teller bestellt. unglaublich lecker, cremig & überraschend erfrischend! auch der wein dazu stand dem gericht in nichts nach. ich empfehle das LA auf jedenfall weiter!!"

"We sat at summer temperatures in the farm of this restaurant with a very beautiful view over basel. the kitchen of this restaurant is very good, the wine card leaves no wish open, but the service (this evening?) was unfortunately overwhelmed with the large number of guests. the various courses were not served at the same time, and indiscusable was the after-shot of drinks. Nevertheless, eat and weeping impeccable, at the next visit we will hope that it is not so full and then also the service can do what one expects from a raised Swiss restaurant."

"Very surprised about this location. Been there for a birthday meal, it was top from beginning to the end. Queerbeet starters were the highlight foodwise, so tasty and refined. A shoutout to our server who was simply outstanding. Perfect knowledge of food and beverage, high English speaking skills, an example how it should be done. Parking: No parking on location. Either choose Jelmoli or Storchen and walk about 7min"
