"We were invited to hen of the wood while we were in burlington and I would not have been happier with our experience. they have taken care of cultivating a fine dining room ambiente that is not overcrowded or pretentious. the farm to table experience offered is one of the things we love most about the city burlington, vermont. eating itself is delicious. we had a lot of cold seafood, steaks, sweet and dessert all were excellent. do not skip dessert. her olive oil lemon cake is so good. I promise it's worth all the calorie!"

"It was a wonderful restaurant to have dinner with a friend. Our food was delicious and prepared just as we requested. The salad bar is the feature that makes us choose Windjammer over and over again. Great variety for the salad and love the fresh bread and cheese boards. When we were halfway through our meal, a large party was seated right in front of us. We were in a semi-circle booth. It felt too close and could not continue the private conversation we were having."

"Avery beautiful Italian fine dining experience. We had made reservations in advance. We started off with a Von Trapp Pilsner and Ginger Ale. This was followed by Focassia with Pesto, Fried Mozzarella and Brussels Sprouts. For main course we had Pappardelle with Mushrooms and a Margherita Pizza. The grand finale was the Tiramisu. I would definitely come back to try more dishes."
