"Wow. Every part of our experience was fantastic!! The service, the attention to detail, collecting dishes, timeliness, wine selection, ambiance all were so wonderful! It is too common to experience mediocre or sluggish service. The folks at Mosaic provided an actual dining experience! This is so precious and rare! This will be our new regular place in Carrboro/ Chapel Hill."

"I grew up in Carrboro, but I never had the opportunity to eat here. My better half was from the same old food we eat in Durham, but we wanted to celebrate. I suggested Acme, I'm so glad I did. We have the horn bread first. Delicious. Perfect part for both of us. For our entrees I got the Braised Beef Short Rib with carrot know-how. I added on one side of Mac. I'm usually not a big fan of carrot roast, but that was different than anything I ever had. And the crust on the Mac cheese? Unbelievable. I think it was the best meal I ever had. My partner said the same thing about him – he got the black salmon with cheese sauces of black beans. We finished our meal with the Key Lime Tart. Sherbet was AMAZING, but we agreed that the tart was too sharp. I appreciated our waiting staff so much. They made sure we had everything we needed without being overlaid. I can't wait to come back."

"A neighbor recommended us this restaurant and it was wonderful. it was nice as it was decorated. they also have outside the terrace. jamie was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. eating was amazing. we started with the tiny cheese biscuits made from the recipe of the grandmother of the cook. should have commanded you to come home tomorrow. we followed that with a Caesar salad that was different but lovely. I had crispy pamlico garnel and my man got the grouper. we also have a side of creamy polnta to share. we were members of the clean disk club. excellent eating!"

"It was a very disappointing dinner. We have a few food allergies that can be challenging so we understand and as usual we called ahead and we're told there were some dishes that we could eat and they could accommodate us. Once we sat at the bar we were talking with a waitress/bartender Jenny about options which she gave a few. I then asked her about a few appetizers and she seemed to be put off by the fact I was asking her about other options. She actually got pretty short and rude about it. The whole evening she was very stand off ish and the other bartender just basically ignored us. Very confused as to why we were treated so poorly but it was very sad. What was worse was that jenny made it very clear because she walked to every other person sitting at the bar to ask how there meal was, but never asked us once. After the meal I stayed to talk to her and asked her why she was so rude to us all night and she didn't really want to be bothered from a basically empty restaurant to even talk to me about it. Like most of the evening just ignored us. I then found out that the owner was sitting at the end of the bar and Jenny told me that she had already spoken to her about the situation. Clearly trying to make herself sound good as to not get in any trouble. I feel like it doesn't come off very good when even the owner knows there's a problem but never comes over to say anything. It certainly comes across as a place that doesn't care too much about there customers. I would be very careful to eat there, especially if you have an allergy. Maybe having a normal waiter would have been better but it was too loud to sit in the main dinning area and have any kind of conversation. Think it was just a place where the acoustics carried easily."

"This restaurant does not accept reservations on open table. Although we made a reservation a month in advance they did not honor it. I complained that they had our info and could have called us to let us know so we could make other arrangements. Only then they agreed to finally seat us. The place is the IT spot right now. Arrive early on Sundays otherwise you may not get seated. The food is home cooked with love."
