"I lived 5 years in cebu and I started to go to this restaurant in 2002. I'm eating and it's still my favorite restaurant to this day. every time I'm in cebu without taking off, I eat at least once in this restaurant. What's so good about it? they serve filipino eating and I feel proud to say that. they give him truly justity. when they visit, they try their baked skalopps, tortang talong, their grilled buck and bucks, their thunfish bauch, the kinilaw, their lychee slut, etc. all they order is simply good, but to be sure, let them know their server what kind of dish they want and let them give them their recommendations. the ambiente I always liked. it is open (but they also have an air-conditioned room), the staff is friendly, eating is great, the drinks are cold and cheap, etc. What could they ask for? I'm a native and I love eating here. So if you're a foreigner and want to try out our local court, you should check this place. By the way, I own the place and don't have a share of it. it's just my favorite restaurant."

"This place is a hidden gem, easily the nicest food I have had since I arrived in the Philippines and pretty good value as well. The lamb starter just had so much flavour. You can tell this chef has been really well trained. If I had to say one slight negative it would be that the cocktails are a bit basic but there are other drinks so this wouldn't be enough to not give 5 stars. I totally recommend this restaurant."

"Shaka is an Hawaiian themed restaurant in the hustle and bustle IT Park in Cebu. Tho, the ambiance and interiors was very Hawaiian but their menu was nothing but all sorts of filipino dishes and only offers limited options of Luau food. Still highly recommended as their food taste good."

"It's a nice place, but you feel like your wallet. this restaurant is overpriced for the quality of eating. the service was okay, no more. I ordered a small lobster, steamed rice and a koks, I paid 5000 pesos! overpriced! the lobster was not really well cooked and the sauce was simply disgusting. I left this place angry and hungry because it wasn't enough."

"I dream of this restaurant extraordinary. Expensively appointed, wonderfully designed, beautifully laid out and so-professionaly operated -the best ever! I never miss when no I return to Cebu! Its expensive but there are three menus and the Dim Sum one is the cheapest, per dish containing sometimes steamed, prawn, chicken feet etc it's all magnificent! I even thought for a moment I must be in Singapore. Treat yourself try it, it will prove a wonderful experience"

"The unlimited rice was a perfect combination to the all time favorite Filipino dishes like pochero, pancit, bangus and sisig to name a few. The food was served quickly. However, the service staff needs to be attentive more to the needs of the dining customers...since we have to call them several times.. Despite this, the place is clean and conducive to big groups like families. The price is also affordable"
