"Food:4, If you are planning to go on Saturday night, make sure you book them. Their Seafood is a must there, pipis and fried donuts, Ginger and spring onion crab (do yourself a favor, add 1 more noodle, if u have more than 4 person and order less rice. , roast pork and duck.. Etc. Feel free to throw in their Salted egg fried chicken ribs and bean sprots leave in garlic, snow peas with fish fillets..all so good. If you want to i press your Parents i law or a friend from oversea, do come here. Thats what we did, and we all left smiling."

"This is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants around. The interior is decorated quite lavishly, transporting you directly to Asia. Service is prompt and efficient too.<br/>We ordered a variety of dishes, including a clay-pot seafood, BBQ pork with plum sauce, chicken ribs with salted egg yolk, etc., which were all well cooked and flavoured. The stand-out dish for me is probably the BBQ pork with plum sauce; damn, it was just so good!<br/>Complimentary soup is also a bonus!<br/>We had a fruit platter for dessert. Their oranges were one of the sweetest I've had in my life!<br/>Portions are well sized and prices are very affordable $18.80-$30+ depending on the dish).Overall, will definitely be back!"

"I live in Springvale and love it. I try to get around to every restaurant , but wish I had never walked in this one. I took a friend and we walked in on a Sunday Lunch and the place was almost empty .. We...were asked if we had a booking. I looked around and said Do we need one ? The staff from there on took my comments as an insult I think , because even though the food was quite good , the service was terrible. They had such an attitude! There are so many restaurants in Springvale much better than this...and glad to see you!!"

"This is a sister restaurant to its Box Hill premises and has only been open for a few months. It is BYOThe interior is warm and comfortable with seating both at the larger round tables, or smaller booths. There is also a separate dining room for larger private parties.The staff on the night were very attentive, helpful and friendly.Entrees were more of the dumpling style but were quite tasty. Teriyaki scallops were a standout. At $30 there was a full plate of tasty, moist scallops which were enjoyed by the whole party. The various dumplings were more run of the mill.Mains included Chilli & Vinegar shredded pork (a very good spicy dish and a plentiful serving) black pepper sizzling beef (again very tasty but its presentation was rather dull)crispy chicken (we chose the whole size, a large plate of well cooked and moist chickenYes there is corkage, but at only $2 per head this is far more acceptable to the large amount charged by some other restaurantsRated 4 as it was different, probably more in the Shanghai style rather than the more popular styles of China. It certainly sets itself apart from the multitude of Chinese restaurants in Glen Waverley and Box Hill.Well worth a return visitFor a table of 6 the total bill of $195 was considered excellent value."

"Not a restaurant for those with foody gourmet tastes and definately not trendy but for a good quick meal it is fine. We would eat here again.There is a separate family area where many children were eating with parents plus a balloon entertainer to amuse the children on the Saturday evening we attended.Pensioner special meals were available at $14 a head but we lashed out and spent $27 each, (Oh such high end living....or not)!!!We are maybe not too picky about food since it is only body fuel after all."
