"We have been in Coos Bay for two years now, and have been looking for a great fish place to eat. Our friends from California were coming in, and we thought we would try fisherman‘s grotto. By far the best place we have eaten. Not only was the food extremely delicious, we had eight people in our party they got us in right away, everybody in our party order something different, and it was exceptional!!! Do not waste your time on places other than fisherman‘s grotto. If you want a wonderful atmosphere, with people with personality go to fisherman’s grotto. say hello to John!!!"

"I was very happy with my lunch in Tokyo Bistro. The service was friendly and the kitchen was fast. I had the grilled oysters for an appetizer and they were great. Huge oysters perfectly cooked and drowned in a delicious sauce. I chose the cook special on the picture. The presentation was amazing and the portion size was worth the price. The fish was very freshly tasting and there was a wide selection of Sashmi. Definitely a great place to get a bite."

"Based on the ghost town around little Italy, I was not expecting it to be so very good. I really enjoyed the crab stuffed shells and my wife had the manicotti. An excellent meal after a long day driving down the Oregon coast."

"We are just at this place for lunch on the way home from Gold Beach. It has a small area for dining and there is a covered deck also outside for eating. I'll tell you about the bat if you're in a hurry or don't want to wait for your food, don't stop here. Your waiting will probably be between 30 and 45 minutes. This is because they make everything fresh when they get your order. We ordered the fish sandwich chips and the cod chips. I also ordered a cup of shells. The fish sandwich was excellent. Fresh was hit and flaky. The bread was soft with not too much tart sauce on it. The cod was hot and perfectly cooked with a light coating of dough. Friends were hot and fresh and plentiful. Portions were a good size. The prices were reasonable. If you are looking for a casual fish house with good food and reasonable prices, try this place. It won't disappoint."
