"Probably one of the best in Fredericksburg, VA but with minimalist decor a bit like a cafeteria) and very uneven food prep spicy pork chop entree seriously over-salted) its not a destination restaurant. It'll be OK if your passing through. Kudos on the wine list as its extremely well priced with a few decent local VA) wines. Service is friendly and efficient."

"The staff is friendly and the service is great. The seafood is always fresh so yes, that does mean they do not always have everything because it isn't in season. I'm fine with that because it means it wasn't shipped from forever away. The food is amazing. They cook it well and correctly. You can get fresh seafood to take and cook at home and you can order anything off the menu for take out. The lunch special is also great. $9.99 for usually a sandwich and two sides. The inside is small so they may not be able to accommodate a large party. Seriously love this place and I keep coming here."

"Actually I was very impressed by the place, it doesn't look like that, but it's the real thing. when they know new orleans, they know that most places don't look so much, so that the feeling is there too. Love it will come back in every case and I recommend it especially if they want the real nola feel and taste."

"Two. here and so good! I have the pad king duck...wow the duck is so moist and the sweet so tender. love her fish sauce. give it to everything. if they are looking for a quiet place to enjoy an amazing dinner, they give them a try. they will not be disappointed!"

"Came here for the first time a few months ago while traveling through, was in the mood for fish I found it! Fish tacos, fried fish sandwich, sweet tea a piece of coconut cake to go! Everything was delicious! Look at the size of that fish on the sandwich! And the piece of cake was enormous! I was highly impressed! I can't remember our servers name but she was ON POINT AWESOME! If traveling through here again I'd definitely stop back in!"

"For the first time in a few years. great changes in the menu. our server andrew was excellent. we had speck wrapped scallops for our appetizer. wild mushroom ravioli for a entree and the daily special was skin on snapper. both were excellent. we had the homemade lime cake for dessert, which was very good. really enjoyed the evening."

"We enjoyed our visit in tapa rio very much. just a few blocks from the historic city center and nested at the river. great view of the meadow and the river in the terrace. great drinks and many parking spaces in front of the spot, on parking space and free city parking a block away. eating was great, delicious and cheap. a pretty chill square with a large terrace."
