"If you like seasonings, don't go here. Bland. Edible. But Bland. I didn't enjoy the fish, but the sides were okay. Someone else in the restaurant enjoyed the food, Im saying this because they loudly announced how good it was. I wondered what they had. Because the feelings weren't shared."

"Love the inside setup of restaurant. Veal parm fell short. Sauce was great but veal was too chewy. No customers when came on an early Saturday night but was Thanksgiving weekend. Liliana our waitress was very nice and helpful. I'd expected better with the food but will return to give a second shot."

"Last Friday I took my former professor to this restaurant to celebrate her retirement. To say that I was unimpressed with nearly every aspect of the restaurant would be an understatement. Upon entry, we were not seated. My guest uses oxygen and cannot stand for long periods of time. We had reservations, but no one could tell us where our table was, and the hostess was on the phone for a long period of time, ignoring us. We had to go downstairs and sit down to wait on her to tell us where our table was. Then one of my other guests is gluten-intolerant, but no one at our restaurant seemed to understand anything about this condition. Our server, a good-intentioned salesman with a British accent, asked us if we wanted wine approximately eight times, interrupting our conversation frequently. Finally, he offer us some free of charge when we ordered dessert, and we told him again that we do not drink wine and did not want it even if it were free. Our meal was lackluster. I feel taken-advantage-of considering I spend nearly $130 for the entire meal. I could have easily gone to the grocery store and made something better, and I am nowhere near a professional chef. Moreover, the meal was so sparse that we had to go get more food afterwards, even though we had salads, entrees, and a dessert. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert. Nowhere on your menu did it say that is contained nuts. My former professor is allergic to nuts. We had to rush her home, and she had to use a $100 EpiPen to stop a reaction she was having. During the meal, there were people smoking right outside the door of the restaurant. The door was open. My professor, who as I mentioned is on oxygen and had it with her, had difficulty breathing because she is allergic to cigarette smoke. We asked someone to do something about this. No one did. My professor had also order the scallops with rutabaga. The rutabaga was cooked so poorly and tasted so awful that she had to spit it out. She told the server. He did nothing. Overall, I cannot believe this restaurant has the good reviews that it does. It is one of the poorest dining experiences I have had. I wanted to say something while I was there, ask for a manager; however, I did not want to cause any further issues since I was trying to do something nice for my former professor, and she was embarrassed enough because she had chosen the place because of the good things she had heard about it. Needless to say, I will not be back;I feel cheated."
