"The house tostada here, called thunfisch and friends, if I remember correctly (with thunfish, scallops, garnel and dried garnels) is really delicious, and the portions are very generous. kokosnuss garnelen was also very delicious. the service was good and the place has a nice location on. the water. I would simply not order the fish and chips again because they were more like fish sticks for children."

"Been to mazatlán before and wanted to give el muchacho alegre tried, but it was always busy. so we came there at 15 o'clock and were from the country with views of the beach and ozean. we liked to be in our decision. we had the Arrachera...y camarón fajita and dorado filet with smoked marlin and garnel under chipotle sauce. muy delicioso . meeresfruit tacos also excellent. the server were great and were there when they needed another margarita or cerveza fría. but be warned, a banda group plays most nights, and that makes fun entertaining experience. but they are noisy and there are no corners of the restaurant that has no loudspeaker directed on them. if they want to enjoy their meal with talk, I would suggest going to el muchacho alegre for lunch or lunch break. beautiful price for 2 drinks, $650 pesos 40cdn)."

"Every Wednesday the Sushi Bar offers two for one meals. I am not big on Sushi but the bar also has Mongolian Beef and Tepenyaki Beef or Chicken. Combined with Yakamishi Vegetable Rice it makes a great dinner. The service is excellent and if you want to bring your own wine there is no extra charge. Their wine list is excellent and El Cid Members get a discount"

"I have been there repeatedly, with as many as 20 people, and known of no disappointment on the part of anyone. Such exciting food, presented in interesting ways. Drinks great. The owner is happy for gringos to bring their own wine. What a great place."

"El témpura que pedí llegó bañado y escurriendo en aceite. Mi problema además es que al solicitar factura, me pidieron un 16% más sobre el precio marcado en el menú, en ningún restaurante tienes el cliente que agregar el impuesto, a menos que esté avisado de antemano por escrito en el propio menú o en algún cartel a la entrada del restaurante. El resto de la comida estuvo correcta sin llegar a ser estupenda."
