"Mosmans is on the expensive side because of his location. we had focaccia brot for duck, soft and fresh. Hubby had fish and chips that we enjoyed, but my cock was just a little dry. service was good."

"From the moment we walked in we were welcomed and that stayed all through our visit.It was a cold day but lovely and warm inside. We ordered drinks and lovely ciabatta bread oil and roasted garlic came out.The seafood chowder was just right, the scallops lovely and then the main courses one of barramundi and the other snapper both grilled with roasted vegetables and the snapper on a bed of delicious cous cous was fantastic.The coffee was nice and nothing was too much trouble. Sitting on the river the setting of this restaurant is great. So thank you Jaime our waiter for making our lunch special."

"I had visited this restaurant a year ago with friends and loved it, so I decided to take my partner there last weekend. Our booking was for 8 pm and when we got there my first reaction was that I had made the right choice. The atmosphere, the lighting, the hospitable staff were all as I had remembered. We ordered two starters: one Thai chicken dish and the Betal Leaf Dish. The chicken was over-fried, poisonously-salted, hard-to-find-the-chicken nuggets that made a drive-through fast food joint seem like haute cuisine. The Betal Leaf dish was a good idea gone wrong - the combination of textures and flavours just did not work. We then had our main dishes: the fish curry and a tiger prawn dish. The fish was just OK. The prawns were beautifully fresh by themselves. However, they were mixed in a dish of glutinous noodles with a brown non-descript gluggy sauce. To add insult to injury, staff started preparing the restaurant for the next day ie bringing out trays of cutlery, setting up tables. It was intrusive and clearly signalled to us, whether intended or not, "finish up and go home". Anyway, we couldn't finish the main course and left the restaurant just after 9 pm (a little over an hour since we arrived). The bill cost us $180+ that included a modest bottle of wine. We will not be going back. Something has drastically changed in the last year. Perhaps it is an attempt at fusion cuisine that just does not come off. Really dreadful."
