"A lovely atmosphere, cute interior, and good food the pork belly starter was nicely balanced with a sweet minty base and the veggie lasagna main was very satisfying but also light at the same time. Cocktails were absolutely great, there’s an everyday deal of 2for1 and it’s so worth it. Plus staff were so friendly and accommodating, really tying the whole experience together will definitely be back for another visit."

"A few months ago I visited newcastle for a day and went to lunch with three others. we arrived a little early, and our host suggested that we make a walk in the adjacent forests to work an appetit. we arrived in time for lunch at the hotel, and after ordering a suitable bottle of wine through the menu, and I had the chicken liver starter, and beef bourguignon as my main course. the chicken livers were excellent and let me want more. the bark was cooked throughout the whole, but was cordy and the sauce was too concentrated and overshadowed the taste of the meat effective. I managed to end most of it, but the sose was too overwhelmed to continue. I have skipped dessert and ordered a cappuccino that was excellent. the service was attentive and professional, and all our needs were visited immediately. the ambiente was super, and our seating with views of the forests was very soothing. I would have been happier if the bark had been better. next time I plan to order a steak!"

"Poor service and mediocre eating. Bar staff were simply rude would not recommend this place at all if they were ouse money then just maybe they get better service, as on our visit as the placement of the staff was disgusting would not recommend this place...at all that I had better service and steak elsewhere"

"Absolutely terrible. We had a table booking for a large party at 7pm but they had ‘overbooked’ the restaurant so we didn’t get seated until 8:10pm. There was no apology from any of the staff or managers. The food eventually came and everyone only had around 5 potato skins on their plate. The pizzas were tasteless and no one brought Parmesan or black pepper, even thought we asked twice for it. Terrible food and customer service. Avoid."
