"Je suis allé déjeuner avec mon fils. Nous sommes arrivés vers 13h. Nous avons pris deux entrecôtes avec des frites. Rien de plus simple. Une demi heure d'attente. puis un café que je suis allé boire au comptoir car il n'arrivait jamais. Bref nous sommes partis vers 13h45 et manger en 1/4 d'heure. Il ne faut pas être pressé et l'entrecôte frite à la carte rien d'extra."

"We stumbled across this little gem en route to a couple of other restaurants we'd spotted on the Trip Advisor website: it didn't feature, as it seems we are the first to review it. Appearances suggest this to be a one-woman establishment, as the charming lady who cooked our lunch and served us was the only member of staff we saw this Saturday lunchtime (though a helpful regular offered to assist with any translation of the menu we might require). A delicious meal of lamb cutlets with Dauphinois potatoes for my mother and me, and a generous portion of tagliatelle with scallops for my father, washed down with a 50cl carafe of very drinkable house white, followed by delicious homemade desserts (at only €3.50 each - one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had for me and tiramisu for my parents) came to €20 a head (including a fairly generous tip). From her tiny kitchen, Madame offered a fairly small, but varied menu of four or five meat dishes, a couple of pasta dishes, several salalds and baked cheese offerings, along with a couple of fish dishes; our delicious puds were chosen from a selection of about six. The dining room wasn't much bigger than someone's dining room at home, with 6 or 7 small round tables and room for about a dozen or so customers, so we'll be hoping there is room for us when we return, as I feel sure we will. Probably too small to visit with young children, but perfect for lunch for 1-4 adults."

"Conquered by the menu specially designed by the chef, the choice took quite logically on the restaurant of the imperator to celebrate our first Valentine's Day.Arrived, very late:-) in this superb and romantic glass overlooking the gardens after crossing the large hall with a delightfully overannounced charm (elevator of the time), we were taken care of by attentive staff but sometimes hesed. Once tasted a very good champagne accompanied by pleasant mouths, our meal began with a half-cuit foie gras sublimated by a griot jelly. chased by melting scallops (servies on a succulent poultry broth to chestnut) then by a tender calfnet with perfectly mastered cooking for both, the feast ended with a chocolate-framboise duo to share (Saint-Valentin oblige !), perhaps slightly in withdrawal of the overall quality. In summary, a festive meal with refined flavours at the height of the sumptuous setting in which it was served."

"Subscribed to their restaurant for a few years, badly the change of owner, it remains for me a reference to Nimes.menu around the exceptional duck. map of the super.seul bemol wines that makes me put that 3/5, c is the server often on its mobile, and that smokes during service in front of the entrance door. Too bad."
