"As restaurants go the Veranda is rather old fashioned, but hard to beat. What’s not to like about a period dining room, with space, sensitive service and starched table clothes overlooking the lake.The menu while not extensive (most Swiss restaurant offer limited choice), was intresting, with a small choice of meat and fish dishes.We very much enjoyed our Autumn nuts voloute, pan fried frois grass, scallops and fillet de perche (great French fries).Food quality is good and flavours not too over stated.We appreciated the efficient and friendly service.A pleasant dining experience."
