"Our first visit here, and our first inside dining experience after lockdown, and it exceeded our expectations. What a fabulous place. The weather was awful, but I imagine on a lovely day with the bifolds open, it would be even more stunning. The service and...food were both excellent. We had asparagus, avocado and beetroot starters between us; and fish chips, a steak, fish pie and the slow cooked beef as mains. portions of the crumble for afters. This place is a gem, and even though it’s a bit of a trek for us to visit: it’s well worth it."

"The Inn is tired not very attractive we had booked in for 3 nights but left the same day bed was damp attitude of hosts appalling Bar area and restaurant not very appealing and surrounding area looks very run down"

"Stay at the sandburn hall hotel and had two great breakfast, dinner and a afternoon tea here in tykes, all the staff were amazing and so friendly, eating was great at all places and great menu choices"

"Superb meal last Saturday to the extent we were back this evening. Dishes are a cut above pub-grub but excellent value. Recommend; Scallops with crab risotto and Duck breast with Dauphinoise potatoes."
