"The New Inn has been regularly recommended by friends, but we found it very disappointing when visiting with family for Sunday Lunch. It started badly because diners at an adjacent table had two dogs and the smell was overwhelming. In my opinion dogs should not be allowed at tables where people are eating I would have walked out in other circumstances. The food was average at best. On the plus side there is a very good welcome and the staff are good."
