"The Cafe Brant is located in the Neustadt district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a nice café to just have a coffee, sit and read or have something from the menu. It is casual but elegant food with white linen tablecloths and white linen napkins.... Always a good start! The lunch menu gives you the choice of beef, scallops or fish. We had the salmon and the St. Jacques Scallops and Prawns. Both dishes were well presented and had a good taste without additional pepper or salt. Dessert for us was coffee and vanilla ice cream that was delicious."

"Recommended by a local colleague, it is off the beaten track away from the tourist centre of Strasbourg - excellent cuisine served in classy modern surroundings. The chilled Alsace Pinot noir was an enjoyable new experience for me and went well with the veal. Petit gourmand dessert was an interesting mixture to end on."
