"Had dinner there 10/24. The food and service were spectacular. Four of us had the crab stuffed shrimp for my sister's birthday dinner. They let us bring in a cake and Teushie was our server. She did the candles and everything and helped us sing. My sister was 80 years young and had a great time. We will go back."

"Small cozy Japanese restaurant near our place. What I like here is that you can see the cook while he prepares for your food. Our waitress is very attentive. Eating is okay, but not something you'd come back earlier. Cons:Price is little expensive."

"This was a cozy little spot that we didn't even know was so close to us. We found it on Google so we decided to try it.The restaurant was small, cozy and very clean. All of the tables were full when we arrived so that was a good sign. The Waitress was attentive and service was fast.The food itself had a nice presentation and was tasty and filling. Also, the portions were definitely more than enough."

"I haven't been to Nicks in many years. I was on that side of town and suggested it as a work related lunch location. The restaurant was EMPTY. there were 5 of us. We still couldn't get much of the waitresses attention nor could she bring us things like drinks in a timely manner. The food was, in short, inedible. I ordered a simple salad with chicken. I really couldn't eat it it was so bad. None of my party was happy with their food and we left most of it uneaten. I will never return here. Next time I'd prefer some cheap fast food than $100 in edible food. I'm actually surprised I'm not sick yet from it."

"We arrived for Mothers Day with a party of 5, including my two year old daughter. It was a pre-fix menu for the occasion so we assumed that it would be good and timely. The first loaf of bread arrived and was frozen in the middle. I politely sent it back. The second one was also frozen. Third time was a charm though. The first course was a choice between a soup or a salad. The soup was excellent but luke warm at best. The salad didn't have all of the ingredients listed on the menu but was still very nice. I was slightly amazed since we had the first seating of the day that they didn't have all the ingredients, even as simple as apples. The next course was beef skewers or crab cakes. The beef was excellent and the slaw under them was fantastic. The crab cake was under-cooked and as everything else thus far, cold. We then proceeded to wait an hour on the main course while enjoying mimosas. After the tables seated 30 minutes after us had finished their main course and were departing I asked to speak to a manager. He apologized and told me he was comping everything and would have the food right out. 15 minutes later it was delivered. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and of a generous portion. Others in the party got scallops and shrimp. The shrimp were also quite good. The scallops were COLD and resembled the texture of an elementary school eraser. Most were left on the plate. At this point I surrendered and just asked for the check. They did indeed comp everything, EXCEPT THE FOOD!!! I didn't care by that point, gave them the credit card, left the poor waiter who was in no way at fault a 20% tip, and left. It was truly one of the most disappointing meals of my life. Oh, and they charged us full price for a two year old who didn't order an entree. It will certainly be the last time I give them a single dollar of mine."
