"5 of us ate here Monday 3rd August, it was a quiet day. Restaurant is clean and nicely laid out. Waitress service was good, two people had breakfast, one had a hamburger and fries, one had a bowl of soup and I had a very good veggie omelette, we all had coffee with refills. the bill was $52, thought that was reasonable."

"Our work group got together for a working lunch at the Lake Grill in Whitby June 28, 2017. There was about 25 of us and everyone raved about the food.The place is not very big and it was full to the rafters in all the seats we didn't take up. "We were treated as special guests by the host/owner and staff from the moment we arrived. All were courteous and professional in their manners. The dinner menu has several interesting choices, whether appetizers, pasta dishes, main course, or deserts. The wine list is thoughtful and offers selections from a number of countries in a variety of price ranges. We were not disappointed with our selections and departing very pleased with the experience. Even though the dining area is an open concept arrangement, the white-table setting and atmosphere felt intimate Perhaps this may have been the company though - after all it was our anniversary!"
