"The service was excellent for me, but my husband didn't get any beverage refills. I think I have it. The gratin potatoes are the best I ever had. I loved the sauce drizzle that came with the sea bass. All steaks were cooked for perfection. The lamb frame was a little hard, but tasty. Although it was not all perfection, it was still five stars fabulous. We'll return safely."

"The ambience of Piatto is contemporary and elegant. There are several types of seating options, including at the attractive horseshoe shaped bar, booths and tables in the main dining area around the bar, more secluded alcoves and enclosed rooms for small groups. The cocktail and wine menu has good variety, including some wines by the glass that normally are served only by the bottle such as a Barolo and Brunello. I started with the Italian Salad, which was very flavorful and not overly dressed. My main course was the veal involtini with a side of risotto and asparagus. All was very flavorful, well presented and in a reasonable portion size. The tomato cream sauce on the veal was outstanding. The bread served with the meal was focaccia style and freshly baked. I enjoyed Piatto as a single diner at on a Monday evening during the pandemic. That probably why I was one of only three or so parties in the restaurant. That noted, the entire staff was very attentive and made me feel welcome and appreciated as a single diner which is not always the case. The owner stopped by my table, and the executive chef stopped twice and even asked me if I would like the asparagus rather than the usual side vegetable. I definitely will return"

"Good for New Year's Eve. The four course New Year's Eve dinner was wonderful. The steaks were perfect. I had the New York Strip and my wife had the Ribeye. Our meal also featured the Maryland Crab Cakes, chopped salad, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, and a dessert sampler. This may be a new tradition for us. The service was superb, as well."
