"We spent a lunch here. Menu was in German only, but the waiter spoke English and Hungarian as well (lucky us). We went for the wiener snitzel and a local speciality served in frying pan. Portions were big, and all tasted good. Absolutely satisfied with the surroundings, the service and the food as well."

"The restaurant is near the railway stop some 2-3 and outside the Obertraun village. It's a good starting point for a trip to Bad Aussee or a mid-poind for a trip around the Obertraun. The food is excellent. High quality meat and vegetables are used...(try their chicken! and everything is perfectly prepared. It's hard to say what is the best (I personally like their tomato soup very much . It might seem to be a bit expensive but it is actually adequate for the quality which they offer."
