"Not so good food for a hotel by Marriott. Great rooms, restaurant staff were attentive but seemed busy and understaffed. We had lunch, the burgers were very creamy, in fact cream was a major presence in the dishes. We also had pasta. We only ate there as the reception desk staff told us at check-in that absolutely everything in the area was closed due to the National Holiday. We walked around at dinner time and found out for ourselves there were plenty of food places open. I loathe ill-informed and just plain "can't be bothered" staff, so tarnished the experience of our stay!"

"Die Sportsbar West ist eine völlig modern eingerichtete stylischer Bar im Herzen von Niederkassel. Sowohl die Speisen als auch die Getränke lassen keine Wünsche offen. Es gibt hausgemachte Burger, leckere Schnitzel, frische Salate und saisonale Gerichte. Das Mittagessen zum kleinen Preis ist in der Woche möglich. Die Sportsbar kann zu Feiern aller Art gemietet werden, aber das Team steht auch als Caterer zu Verfügung. Auf der Terrasse kann man gemütlich sitzen und fühlt sich eher wie im Urlaub, als in der Großstadt."

"Positiw is the size of the portions and the price for them to be noted. the service is however significantly improved. If you like to be ignored for a long time, you are gold right here. I had already waited before, after we had waited for a long time on the terasse thirsty for a speech to call with the handy in the pub and ask if bier would be for sale. It's a pity."

"Op een mooie zonnige dag snel een lunch genomen. in een oase van rust in een dorp eighty omgeving, wat je eerder zou guarded in een zuid duits omgeving, in plaats van 10 minutes van de dusseldorfer binnenstad. een lekker glas bier met een lekker stukje vis en wat aardappeltjes. daroon eenvoudig, lekker en voldoende, wooon zoals een lunch moet zijn. en over de prijs moeten we wooon niet praten. ik as nederlander zijnde vraag me nog steeds af waarom het zoveel malen goedkoper kan zijn dan in nederland waar de kwaliteit meestal ook minder is.Gewoon een aanrader, as je van geen poespas houd."

"So good we came back for more ! Having arrived in Dusseldorf for the boat show we sought out somewhere to eat on Friday close to our hotel. Although we hadn’t booked, a corner table was found for us and we dined On German speciality’s...and beer Sunday has come Around and we have chosen to return here again. Enough said ......"

"Well, unfortunately our expectations were no longer fulfilled. We go years regularly in the coast, unfortunately it became weaker every year. In plain text: portions were smaller, prices have risen, the former best schnitzel outside of Austria was one that you can get to "every corner", the potato bed tasted Fad and the presentation is unfortunately also loveless. Now adds seamlessly to that always uncomfortable ambience over which we have always watched the quality. A PITY! That does not tear the Austrian charm out anymore .."
