"Delicious food this place deserves its high ratings. Don’t worry that it’s not in the centre of town, it’s busy and lively. Make sure to make a booking on busy nights… like every Friday. The service was very good. My risotto was nice my wife’s eye fillet one of the nicest either of us have tasted for years. The accompanying vegetables also were delicious."

"After a few bumps we’ve finally found a great place to dine in Taupo. The atmosphere is amazing and very English to every single detail. The service was outstanding which it made our evening even better and the food didn’t disappoint. The serves were huge, I had the beef schinitzel and it was delicious, crispy and soft and to top it up the desserts were just as good. If you want to have a great experience altogether this is the place."

"Pleasant Austrian themed pub brewery with delicious food beer and great decor. The Schnitzel plate was fantastic and the sauerkraut that accompanies it was spot on. The dark ale and Austrian lager were tasty as well. Pizza was well prepared but not to our taste."

"A delightful experience, lovely staff decor. Great selection of cabinet menu options. We were in for our first time and enjoyed French toast the full breakfast. Plus a delicious Feijoa juice from Hastings (live there, but never seen it for sale there)."

"Excellent restaurant and bar in the center of Taupo’s central business district! It is a beautiful space, with lots of wood, lovely woven light fixtures, brass lighting over the bar, ferns, and a fireplace. For beer lovers, there are 10 beers on tap, plus they have a nice wine list and a full bar. The menu is excellent, with strong sharing plates, pizzas, pub standards like fish and chips, great sounding salads, plus a range of other entrees. We got Chicken Parmigiana (yum!! and followed it with Sticky Date Pudding for dessert. Great all-around experience and I’d definitely go back."
