"Like an Italian home cooked food. hearty meals with love can taste them. it was our first station back in townsville after we were 22 years away, and eating is just as good as it was. do not expect silver service or pretentious entrees,...just honest hearty food on a teller. the steak dianne with spaghetti delightful and the pizza was great. great experience."

"I always love coming here, staff are always amazing! I've been coming here for Lunches and Dinners for quite a few years and every single staff member I have encountered has gone above and beyond to make my experience great. Meals are always quick and very tasty! Even when the restaurant is full I have never had to wait long for my meals. If at a large table the meals always come out at the same time."

"Our workplace had our Christmas party here on 09/12/2016. We all had a 3 course meal. All courses were delicious and there wasn't a long wait between courses. We had the room to ourselves, we could be as loud as we liked. Air-conditioned, clean, great music, pool tables, T.V.'s. Drinks reasonably priced. Very well priced meals ($40 per head), highly recommend for any function. We were all very well looked after!"

"In Townsville for work and stopped into the Metropol for a take away steak burger. I was pleasantly greeted the moment I stepped into the bistro.i ordered my takeaway steak burger. I've eaten a lot of burgers in my time, some good and some not so good but this burger was the creme de la creme of burgers. Succulent steak, fresh produce and the best burger roll. The best of the best."
