"We visited this place for dinner with our friends and it is one of the best places I have visited. than food the experience was great. Sitting in Austria having dinner and looking at Germany and Switzerland at a distance with lake of Konstanz...below is one of the best experiences. Food is mainly German/Austrian cuisine. We tried the Käsespätzle and Wiener Schnitzel. It was not great but not bad either. I would recommend this place for at least for the experience it offers."

"Auf Empfehlung unserer Unterkunft hin haben wir das Gasthaus ausprobiert. Super Küche, normale Preise, freundlicher aufmerksamer Service. Schönes Lokal, unbedingt reservieren- ist sehr gut besucht. Die Karte bietet nicht nur bodenständige Küche, sondern auch ausgefallenen Speisen (z.B. Basis Goreng - traumhaft !) Lokales Bier, ausgesucht köstlichen Wein aus Österreich aber auch zu. B. Spanien."

"Beautiful terrace with view, very friendly. But we sat on one of two nights despite the most beautiful weather in a dark corner. But good, it was full.The eating was bad. tweezer roast floats in a tasteless thin sauce. the bratkartoffeln boiled and then roasted again in the pan. on the sweetness that was otherwise well cooked, a breezy bunish mixture. the meat on the grill plate dry, the pancakes tastefully good, but tasteless in the fat floating salats sauce. with the foundation "rostbraten goes faster because he's finished" did not manage to bring two foods at the same time.Well, because both are good and friendly.We were not in the hotel, but only came to eat."

"After long hikes in eichenberg and pfender, this restaurant is absolutely perfect. they have terrace with magnificent views of the lake area, in the high season its very packed with tourist or only locals enjoy the sun. we order tee and apfelstrudel for only. connecting the sun, the taste was ok, but the texture of the apfelstrudel is a bit lig and the taste of the apple not so present, but the waiter is so friendly and the intention is amazing"

"Prices a little high and selection limited. Asked for a English menu which they had however only part of the German menu had been translated. Would not go here again a very nice outdoor private setting which was relatively cool on a hot summer evening.."
