"Die Pinzgauer Hütte liegt etwas 'abseits' im Skigebiet von Zell am See, d. h. sie ist nicht direkt an einer Liftstation / Piste. Man muss ca. 800 Meter einen Ziehweg unterhalb der Talstation der Kapellenbahn nehmen um zur Hütte zu gelangen. Der Weg lohnt sich.... sehr idyllisch, wunderschöne Ausblicke auf die umliegende Bergwelt. Es ist eine sehr schöne Hütte mit flinken, netten und freundlichem Personal. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, freier WLAN-Zugang.Der Rückweg zur Kapellenbahn ist ein Erlebnis - man wird hinter einem Skibob den Ziehweg wieder hochgezogen - wer das nicht mag / kann, darf auch auf dem Bob Platz nehmen...."

"After a rather unprepossessing frontage on the Main Street, the beer garden of Gasthof Zacherlbrau is a revelation. Much of the eating area is under a wooden verandah type roof, so you're inside and outside. The area is decorated by an interesting collection of old farming implements, making a super place to dine. The reasonably priced Austrian style food is well cooked and presented, and service is helpful, friendly and prompt. The Zacherlbrau beer is very good. I had Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, an Austrian speciality, basically a chopped up, sugared pancake served with plum sauce. Our waitress suggested take the small portion, but I went for the large. I cleared my plate,but had to admit that the waitress was right. The bill for two with three beers was 50 euros."

"The food and waitresses were excellent. The boss needs to be reprimanded and learn how to treat people fairly and equally. A couple guys came up to get a table for 5 outside near the road. They had some reservation signs on a few tables but not the one they chose. The waitress explained that the table was available if they were eating and not just getting drinks. They confirmed that they were going to eat, so the waitress let them sit at the table. They were there a good 5-10 minutes with the boss seeing them sit there as he stood by the front door. Soon the men were joined by their ladies covered head to toe with their traditional outfits. That is when the boss walked out the front door yelling at the waitress saying that the table was reserved and they weren’t allow to sit there. They came to the table and told them that they had to sit inside, which they did despite plenty of open tables outside. The group ate inside and left. No one ever came and used any of the nice reserved tables outside or the one they originally sat at and I stayed long after the group left. Call it what you want to call it, but what I witnessed was racism by the boss and I stand firm on this claim with plenty of witnesses. This occurred on Friday July 14, 2023."

"Ich finde dass das "Gut Edelweiß" zu sehr auf Schicki Micki tut. Es dauert ewig bis man sein Essen bekommt, welches auch noch im Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht ist. Die Bediengung ist zufriedenstellend. Der Ausblick ist ebenfalls gut, aber dennoch reicht es meiner Meinung nach nicht für 3 Sterne."
