"In front of the Muntanella restaurant there is a beautiful lounge with an open fireplace, a harmonious bar with a large selection and plenty of friendly staff, which was the introduction to a wonderful meal in an elegant, beautiful setting. The ambience is nice, good light, tables not too close to each other. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nicely dressed. Food comes at good intervals. Guests are noticed. Top quality of food that corresponds to a restaurant at this level . Views outside through large windows directly onto high mountains of snow create a lovely wintry, romantic atmosphere. "Hard to find a better and more elegant restaurant next to a golf course anywhere in the world! Excellent and reative cocktails were joyfully suggested (e.g., strawberry daiquiri, virgin mojito, etc.! We then had a really superb soup and two excellent meat dishes, with...a ample choice of of vegetables and potatoes/french fries to select from as side orders. Also the desserts are notably good. And host Jens is not only a joyful personality but also very attentive and discret in serving the tables and its guests. Really recommendable! Not only the restaurant, but also playing golf on the highest altitude golf course in Europe!"

"My family and I (4 people) were in Switzerland for a family holiday. This restaurant was opposite our hotel and looked very nice and had a lot of advertising outside. On 2 occasions we tried to eat at the restaurant and were refused. The first time she said that we were too late (21:00pm). The second time we arrived at 20:00pm and as we walked in and asked for a table for 4 she huffed and puffed and then went to ask her colleague and just said to us no without a reason or explanation. There were lots of other people in the restaurant eating and many free tables. I was very disappointed and upset that we had been refused twice. Whilst the outside of the restaurant was very nice, the staff were unaccommodating to a family on their first trip to Arosa."

"The kitchen is worth it's michelin star. The staff is very friendly and nice. The starter with the marinated salmon-trout wrapped in a Nori sheet has been the highlight of the evening. The decoration was superb. The fish soup had a very tasty stock, the fish was ok. The main course had rabbit and was very tender, good presentation and a nice portion, only the food was not hot enough. Also to wait always for the sauce in every course is a little too much. Wine list is fantastic, hotel ambiente and furniture very nice."

"Don't take the cable-car up there! Walk up there;) it's rewarding and we had a big panache for about CHF 5.70 which is a good price for a mountain restaurant."
